Andrew Frey, Founder & Principal
Andrew is a real estate development professional with more than a decade of experience. He is a developer, zoning lawyer, educator, advocate, and winner of the ULI Southeast Florida Young Leader of the Year.
Prior to Tecela, he developed more than 1,200 market-rate rental apartments at CC Residential, and obtained local government approvals for more than 2.5 million square feet of development at Akerman and Gunster. He is an occasional adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture, where he has won the Faculty Award.
His volunteer activities include serving as a board member of the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority, founder and executive director of Townhouse Center, and vice-chair for policy of the Urban Land Institute's South Florida district council. He formerly served as founder and executive director of DawnTown, for which he won the Knight Arts Challenge, and chair of the Chapman Partnership nextgen committee.
